How to Choose Interior Emulsion for a Tropical Climate
Humidity, mould and salt air decide whether a paint film survives its first monsoon. Here is the specification checklist we give to Southeast Asian distributors.
In tropical markets the paint film fails for three reasons: moisture trapped in the substrate, mould growth on the film surface, and chalking from UV load.
Specify anti-mould grade emulsion with solid content above 50%, keep dilution below 15%, and require a sealed primer on new plaster.
Our anti-mould and washable grades are formulated for exactly this environment and ship in 18L and 20L pails sized for 25–28 kg container loading.
